This summer, Tallinn's three harbors - Noblessner Marina, Old City Harbor cruise area, and Seaplane Harbor - will host the world's largest sailing training regatta, The Tall Ships Races, inviting businesses to offer a variety of foods and drinks, Estonian handicrafts, and all kinds of attractions for children. Registration is open until June 10.
According to Marje Tõemäe, the project manager of The Tall Ships Races Tallinn 2024, the sailing training regatta is the summer's biggest Estonian maritime and family festival, where traders and caterers will also contribute to the festive atmosphere. “The regatta will bring over 60 large sailing ships to Tallinn’s harbors and hundreds of thousands of visitors. As this is an international event, it presents a great opportunity to showcase Estonian food and local handicrafts,” added Tõemäe.
The grand and unique maritime festival will take place from July 11–14, 2024, at the Seaplane Harbor, Noblessner Marina, and Old City Harbor cruise area, offering thousands of visitors numerous emotional experiences and activities on land and at sea. Special attention will be given to marine environmental conservation, and the entire festival will be organized in an eco-friendly manner.
In addition to food and beverage providers, traders of Estonian handicrafts are particularly welcome. There is also an opportunity to offer various children's attractions (trampolines, carousels, ride-on toys, etc.). Student companies that wish to sell their products at Estonia's largest maritime festival are also invited to trade in the Old City Harbor cruise area.
As it is a maritime festival, organizers are looking to involve businesses that offer fish and seafood. The emphasis on food is diversity - ensuring that meat lovers, people with allergies, and vegetarians alike can find satisfying meals and drinks.
Registration is not available for ice cream and light alcohol sales, as the organizer has conducted exclusive sales rights procedures to find partners for these products.
